Driving daze
I commute to school 6 days a week, three of which are from 70 miles away. I take 4 different highways to get there, and lately I've noticed that I'm sort of driving subconsciously. As I drive I think of other things...driving becomes secondary. I take exits and change lanes while checking the time and calculating when I'll reach the next highway and thinking about the classes I'm going to be in and if I'll be late or not. Before I know it, I've reached the school. I sit in my car sometimes and think about how I don't remember taking an exit or driving on one of the highways at all...it's a strange and scary feeling. Has anyone felt this way after driving to and from a certain place time and time again?

ReplyDeleteI commute to school five days a week and every drive feels like a blur. It's probably not a good thing. I have never driven drunk, but imagine it being something similar to this.
ReplyDeleteno joke.. i feel like this happens to me ALL the time its scary. Like I will be driving, get to my destination, and be like..wait I do not remember driving the past five minutes? Not okay.
ReplyDeletethis is like the story of my life! aha and yes your right, it is extremely scary that you dont remember getting to places! I do this all the time, but when I drive it seems that I find myself trying to do every activity possible besides paying attention to the road! Also, listening and singing along to the radio... sometimes I will be speeding so hardcore and not even have realized it. There definitely needs to be something done about this or we need to just wake up a little bit more because we are both going to end up in an accident one of these days!
ReplyDeletePerfect piece of work you have done, this site is really cool with great info . drive education
